The Children In Action (CIA) meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening at 6:45 at the church from September through May. Please join us for lots of fun and Christian learning activities. The CIA recently sponsored a "Comfort Critter" project. During Vacation Bible School, the children made stuffed animals for children who have experienced crisis due to hurricanes, fires, floods, or tornadoes. When all they have might have been destroyed by the calamity, the children will receive a cuddly critter with a personal message from the child who made it. Over 80 "Comfort Critters" were made by the Bethany children during VBS!
Latest Kids' Event:
Target: Clean Water
The children of Bethany recently targeted helping people who don’t have clean water to drink. Activities were designed to draw attention to how unclean water negatively affects communities around the world. We played some cool water games on a hot summer day. The kids checked their aim with a water gun by trying to shoot the pastor! The kids also saw how well they could carry water from a well (in a bucket or in a sponge on top of the head).
You can still sponsor a child who carried the clean water from the well (just contact the church Office).
All proceeds will go to help purchase a clean well system for a needy community somewhere in the world.
