2010 BBC Car Show: September 18, 2010

 

 
 
Judging Tips:
 
 We would like to offer some judging tips about our car show.
 
Judges will be looking at your car as you present it for the show. We encourage the opening of the hood, doors and trunk areas for both our visitors and judges to view your vehicle. 
 
Please see the section on “Vehicle Classes”  this will give you the classes we are judging and vehicles in that class. It is the choice of the guest to pick the class which you feel your vehicle is the best fit. 
 
Cars should be clean in all areas.   Presentation is key to all parts of what a judge is looking for to award points in categories. These points help the judge decide on the best vehicle in each class.

From the North:
 
Take Route 1 south from Thornburg, continue to Rte 603 Arcadia Road turn right. Continue about ¾ of mile to Intersection of Route 605 Marye Road.   Church is located at this corner. To enter turn left of Rte 605 Marye Road to first drive way on right.
 
From the South:
 
Take Route 1 North from Ladysmith, continue to Route 605 Marye Road turn left. Continue to intersection of Route 603 Arcadia Road. Church is located at the corner. To enter us the driveway on Marye Road.
 
 
 
         
Vehicle Classes:
 
Trucks: 4x4 : All 4x4 Trucks will be judged in a single class, regardless of modifications, includes import 4x4.
 
Trucks: Mini /Low Rider:  All import brand trucks, that are not 4x4, typically lowered or customized.
 
Trucks: Custom All 2 wd truckscustom. Model year 1985 model or newer.
 
Trucks: Antique/Restored: All trucks built up to model year 1984, that are stock appearing or restored.
 
Motorcycles: All motorcycles custom and import.
 
Car: Antique:   All year models built thru model year 1984, that are original or restored to original.
 
Car: Custom: All domestic cars that have been customized.
 
Car: Import: All Import brand cars, stock and custom.
 
Antique Equipment: All types of antique equipment.
 
Commercial Truck : Any type commercial equipment model year 1980 or newer. Such as Road Tractors, Dump Trucks, Tow Trucks, etc.
 
Commercial Truck Antique: Any type commercial equipment model year thru 1984, original or restored.
 
Peoples Choice: Voted on by the spectators, for the entire selection of show vehicles are eligible.
 
1st, 2nd, 3rd Place trophy will be awarded per class
